POINTS OF INTEREST

People from Orotelli well remember s’erithaju (porcupine), a costume consisting of a white hood and a necklace made of cork which was covered with the porcupine’s skin and spines.

S’erithaju ran after women, caught them and embraced them so forcefully that the spines pricked the women’s breasts.
