From 1907 to 1911, Milan, with its first signs of Futurism, was home to young Delitala, who had just graduated from the technical institute in Sassari.
He had his first contact with art while still a student.
However, the decision to dedicate himself to painting was made only in Milan, where he initially worked as an accountant for a company producing advertising posters.
He continued to work on advertising art after his return to Sardinia.
He assimilated the expressive language of the Secessions and used it in his works in that period.
