THE GULF OF CAGLIARI
Wrecks from the World War II characterise the dives in the Gulf of Cagliari. Romagna, Isonzo, Loredan, Entella, LT 221, Egle, Marte, Valdivagna, Prua del Romagna, Chiatta are well known dives for wreck divers.
These dives produce strong feelings, the underwater ruins create an atmosphere dominated by the tragic historical events that led to the sinking of these ships.
N.B. These dives are only for expert divers accompanied by divers who know these wrecks very well.
The Gulf also has many other surprises in its endless sandbanks called granite. These are old submerged beaches, home to many different species of fauna.
