GASTRONOMY IN THE BARBAGIA OF OLLOLAI
The Barbagia of Ollolai is the most northern of the Barbagias, the closest to Nuoro.
Like the others, it is a land of shepherds and meat and cheese are the main ingredients in local cooking.
Gastronomic culture also expresses itself in the different types of bread, in the delicious sweetes, in the full-bodied wines and in many other special dishes.
