PINUS VILLAGE BEACH
Position
At the km 42 of the SS 195 (National Road 195), km. 5 from Pula.
How to get there
Take the S.S.195 from Cagliari, turning at the crossroads for the homonymous locality at km 42.
You must go along the main road to reach the beach. You can park in a small open space on the left, when it is already possible to catch sight of the sea. If you park on the road, overlooking the small bay, you can go down to the sea, thanks to comfortable small rocky stairs.
Description
Pinus Village is a small residential resort, with tennis, basket and football courts.
The beach is the most charming along the Santa Margherita coast and is surrounded by rocks sloping down towards the water and enclosing it at its back too. On the right there are very green Mediterranean plants, which overlook the hill surrounding the rock; at its feet a large meadowland spreads out and naturally disappears, replaced by the sandy shore. The white and granulous sand spreads out for a few hundred metres; there are some cliffs at the far ends of the promenade. The water is transparent and green and becomes deep only after few metres: truly a pearl!
Facilities
There is a kiosk, on the right, near the small stairs: it sells sandwiches, ice creams, cool drinks and chips.
