Description:
The Nuragic complex of Palmavera dates from the XIII century B.C.
The site consists of two central towers, one considerably earlier than the other. There is a protective enclosing wall, and a second outer wall with four corner watch-towers.
The village was built around this central area, with roughly 50 dwellings. These include the meeting room, in which a small model Nuraghe is preserved. This model probably had a religious purpouse.
