- What: pre-nuragic necropolis: domus de janas
- Province: Sassari
- Subregion: Nurra
- Municipality: Villanova Monteleone
- Place: Pottu Codinu
the necropolis of Pottu Codinu dates from the Late Neolithic Age (Culture of Ozieri: approx. 3000 B.C.). It consists of nine domus de janas (homes of the fairies).
Among these domus de janas there are two tombs that stand out because of their remarkable architectural characteristics:
- tomb number eight has a double sloping ceiling, similar to the roof of a hut
- tomb number nine has a fireplace.
In winter and spring the tombs are surrounded by green grass, which makes the place even more evocative.
