They ate this meal, but also donated it to the poor.\n<li>On Holy Saturday, to the sound of &#8220;The Gloria&#8221;, people in their houses used to strike everything with a reed, in order to drive out any evil spirits.\n<li>The enchanting playing of the drums, rattles and matraccas (consisting of a board with rings, that when shaken&nbsp;make a particular sound) create a unique atmosphere. Only these instruments are allowed to be played during Holy Week.
